Ryan Scheer has been fascinated by the world of film ever since he was a young boy directing stuffed animals in elaborate actions scenes. His main influence comes from his great grandfather Walt Disney and his grandfather Ron Miller, who was a successful CEO and producer for The Walt Disney Company.Scheer began producing short films in high school. During his senior year, he produced and acted in a feature film that was only made possible by convincing 60 of his peers to work for free during summer break. Since then he has chosen to take the applied learning route and has worked in Los Angeles on multiple sets while interning for famed producer Al Ruddy (The Godfather, Million Dollar Baby). After three years in Los Angeles, Scheer decided it was time to leave and pursue his passion in a different atmosphere. Moving to Austin, TX, he co-founded Lucky Rabbit Films, which has become one of the most respected boutique production companies in the city.
